When I started to get moving on a workout routine I read many a blog post on what others did when they initially began theirs.   I always have one major goal in life (cliché’ as it is), and that is not to recreate the wheel.   If somebody else has taken the time to put their words down and try to help me then I will do everything in my power to follow their lead.  Why start all over again and waste time when we have so little of it.

Well the reason I did the research was to find the optimum way of exercising and consensus was that you should workout 30 to 60 minutes a day, 5 days a week in order to maintain your weight and energy. I have tried to follow the advice but I found that I always seemed to take Friday as one of my  forget about it “missed” days.  There was no hard evidence why it always seemed to be Friday as the day to not exercise, it just kinda worked out that way.  Dose Friday have some special purpose to me?  I don’t really think so, but I always leave exercise off my “to do” list on Friday.   No matter how you look at it Friday was a great end to another long week, or if you’re a glass half full person, the start of the wonderful possibilities of another weekend, but for me that was the day I never did a workout.

When I start to think about the things that are floating around in my head I was wondering if others felt the same way.  First, did they have days they purposefully didn’t do a workout and if so, what was the day they missed.  So now I’m interested enough to find out how you react to this.

  • 1. Do you have a workout routine or just when you feel like it? (For those that don’t exercise at all, you need to read my other posts about the benefits of exercise and then come back here in abo0ut 2 months to answer.)
  • 2. With your routine, do you miss a day or more in a week?
  • 3. If you answered yes to #3 is the day always the same or is it by design to be different?
  • 4. If it’s the same day, is Friday your missed day?

Hey, you don’t have to look at me with that weird face, cause I get it all the time at home.  This is just one of those things that really isn’t important, but I’m curious enough to ask your feelings.
