Weekends slow weight loss, researchers find

Saturdays and Sundays can be the worst enemies for our waistlines, according to researchers at Washington University at St Louis Medical School. There was a study done on 48 adults in their 50s and 60s and the trend across the board was that weight loss slowed considerably when the weekend rolled around. They said that tracking around holidays (especially from Thanksgiving to New Year’s) showed this for many years, but this was the first time that a week to week record showed this type of change.
